Sarah David (*1996/AT) lives and works in Melbourne/Naarm.
Through her practice she investigates how inner states
become entangled with natural environments and objects. Drawing from conceptual image-making

and phenomenological approaches to seeing,  she explores how spaces and objects can hold affective traces beyond their physical form.
Sound appears throughout her work as a medium of transition and remembrance.

She studied Transmedial Space at the University of Arts Linz and Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. During the Covid-19 pandemic,

she lived in Panama and later traveled across the Americas and Australia. Experiences that continue to inform her artistic practice and perception of place.
